Di Molto! What a wonderful slap! The flick of the wrist, the posture of your hips... they were both great. To be able to dish out a slap this powerful, there's no doubt that you're in excellent health!

I have a question regarding the books JoJo's Bizarre Words.
According to this website, Araki breaks down the sound effect "Memetaa!" in those books. The explanation is supposedly:
{| class="wikitable sortable"
|+ Caption text
|-
! Japanese !! English
|-
| インパクトの強い擬音はホラー映画からの影響 || The striking sound effects are influenced from horror movies
|-
| 1部と2部で特徴的な擬音が多いのは若さゆえの挑戦 || Part 1 and Part 2 contain an abundance of striking sound effects all due to Araki's youthful defiance
|-
| メメタァは最初のメは蛙の目を、メタァは粘膜にエネルギーが伝わるイメージ(後付け)とメメタァを代表例に擬音全体について語ってくれた。 || Araki talked about sound effects in general using "Memetaa!" as a model, with the first me in "Memetaa!" representing the eye ("eye" in Japanese is pronounced "me") of the frog, and metaa representing the energy flowing through the skin of the frog (this must have definitely been made up afterward).

Therefore, does JoJo's Bizarre Words actually include this explanation by Araki? Is this true? I would be grateful if anyone owning copies of these books could clarify this matter.
17:25, 24 April 2024 - Booyah commented on Purple Haze: An idea for a localized name: "Violet Haze". I chose this because violet is another name for purple and it also sounds like "violent haze", which fits Fugo's personality.
17:11, 24 April 2024 - Booyah commented on Aerosmith: An idea for a localized name, "Aeromason". I got the idea from iron masons, who work with metal just like blacksmiths, so an aeromason would be similar, but not the same as an aerosmith. Also, the pilot would now be named Mason, and I think that's cute.
